Sky Arts & Media Academy We believe that arts and media activities engage and inspire young people to be motivated in life. Our programmes help develop the fundamental life skills necessary for young people to make a valuable contribution to society. We help young people achieve ‘real’ opportunities within an industry which has a reputation of being elitist and exclusive. We prepare our students by giving them the very best practical experience, helping them to find their own voice and develop their unique strengths. Our courses, which are facilitated by industry professionals, are made sustainable by incorporating a work model that commences once our courses are over, ensuring that our students are not left stranded in a ‘big pond’ but are nurtured to continue their development within a supportive and familiar environment. We develop strong links and partnerships with arts & media organisations, Higher Education (HE) and Further Education (FE) institutes which provide progression routes into related arts & media industries backed up with certification.
